Cinematic explorations and live musical performances through a close yet unfamiliar environment.A vast transition zone stretches between Budapest and nature: logistics centers, highway protection forests, access roads, work zones, high-voltage lines, depots, both disused and active areas. Human land-reshaping activities are extensive. We divert streams and rivers into concrete troughs, cutting wide swaths through forests to run high-voltage cables across the land. In this series, I study this subjugated, exploited landscape.The goal is not to raise awareness. Instead, this work is a direct confrontation with the slow crash happening between our unsustainable existence and the natural world. The central elements of my work are anxiety, facing up to finiteness, and experiencing the phases of grief.The films themselves are silent; I create the soundscapes entirely live during the screenings.
