The Rákos stream is a green corridor in Pest. It originates in the Gödöllő hills, and near the source, there is a Lidl store and several lightweight Mediterranean-style family houses. It passes under the M3 motorway, disappears into a tunnel in Zugló, flows under the tracks leading to the Western Railway Station, and then continues in the 13th district. The mouth of the stream is a concrete tank next to the Duna Arena. This hike fulfilled a childhood dream of mine, and I hope to walk along the Szilas stream someday soon. I took these photos for Bea Pántya's short film, and I thank her for lending them to this video.
