Screenings with Live-acts///// A huge transition zone stretches between Budapest and nature: logistics centers, highway protection forests, access roads, work zones, high-voltage lines, depots, disused and used areas. Human land-reshaping activities are extensive. We divert streams and rivers into concrete troughs, cut wide swaths through forests to run high-voltage cables across them. In this series, I study this subjugated, exploited landscape. The goal of the series is not to raise awareness. This work is more of a confrontation with the slow crash that is happening between our unsustainable existence and our natural environment. The central elements of my work are rather anxiety, facing up to finiteness, and experiencing the phases of grief work. The films are silent films, and I create the sound live during the screenings.
